R.Riveter is an American success story, Shark Tank winner and handbag company on a mission to empower, inspire and connect military spouses across the nation. The company’s solution to provide mobile, flexible income for military spouses is redefining what it means to be truly American Handmade. R.Riveter began in a small attic, in a tiny mountain town called Dahlonega, Georgia — home of the Appalachian Trail, moonshine, and the fifth Ranger Battalion. Armed with a sewing machine and a little bit of canvas, military spouses, friends, and R.Riveter co-founders Cameron Cruse and Lisa Bradley set out on a mission to solve employment struggles military spouses often face.
R.Riveter handbags are made from authentic military or military-inspired materials. From hand-stitched liners to hand-cut leather, each R.Riveter handbag is crafted with a thoughtful, genuine purpose. Military spouses across the country sew parts and pieces of each bag, and parts are sent to R.Riveter’s FabShop outside of Fort Bragg for assembly. The R.Riveter movement captures the humble and courageous spirit of Rosie the Riveter and channels it into every American Handmade purse and handbag they produce.
