Penelope has captured the essence of what drives her creative spirit as well as the universal emotions she has experienced.
Penelope’s fascinating story is reflected in her creative work, which includes both writing and painting. Penelope was raised by an emotionally abusive mentally ill mother. Penelope survived a suicide attempt at 19 and subsequently lost her only sibling to suicide. She grew up in the 70s and 80s, and became a single parent at 21. Through her years-long struggle to understand and become the best version of herself, she went on to earn two degrees, write five books, and create artwork that has been represented and show in galleries all over America as well as globally.
