Designs by Nature Gems is the brainchild of artist Laura Sultan. Based in Canada, Sultan’s lifelong love of the beauty of nature and organic forms is evident in every single piece. The incredibly detailed wire wrapped gemstone necklaces have such a vine-like quality; it’s almost as if the wire somehow grew there on its own! Each piece takes Sultan up to four hours to design and create. Inspiration can take the form of a leaf, a feather, a bird’s nest, or even a spider’s web.
There are over 200 selections including wire wrapped gemstone necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. The pieces feature semi-precious gems such as garnets, pearls, peridots, aquamarines, and so many more – Sultan has assembled a veritable rainbow of gemstones.
