Achieving master baker status is a piece of cake with this Red Copper Brownie Bonanza pan in your culinary quiver. Nonstick ceramic tech meets brilliant grid insert for 18 perfectly shaped brownie bites that slide right off the pan and onto your dessert tray. The Red Copper Brownie Bonanza Pan by Bulbhead is a pretty cool pan. We love brownies, and this pan makes making, and serving, brownies so much easier than using a regular baking dish! Although we are in the middle of the hottest summer we’ve had … well, ever … we still wanted to make brownies. This did mean being a little creative with our time, and doing our baking at about 1am because turning the oven on during the day right now is not acceptable.
We decided to use one of the recipes from the included recipe booklet, Cookie Dough Brownies. The reason we decided on this one was because it called for using a boxed brownie mix and refrigerated cookie dough. Like I mentioned, its been hot and the last thing I really want to do right now is a lot of baking (or cooking) so this one seemed like it would be simple, and easy (and delicious). The kitchen was still so hot, even at 1am, so we let the brownies cool for over half an hour before attempting to remove the divider. The pan was still warm to the touch at this point (but it was now 2am and we were tired) so we went ahead and removed the insert. The brownies did stick a little bit to the pan (and insert) but I believe this is because we couldn’t allow enough time for the brownies to fully 100% cool. Next time, I will pop them in the fridge to fully cool down before removing from the pan, and I think I will have more success.
