The basic idea is that the kit comes with 2 swabs which gives double the opportunity for your cat to be displeased with you. The swabs just need to go into the cheek – the inside of where the whiskers are is a good location. Once you get the cheek located you just have to swab to cats cheek for 10 seconds,put in in a safe place to dry and do the second swab the same way. Once the swabs are dry, it is as simple as placing the swabs in back in the sleeve they came in, filling out the shipping address, placing the bar code to seal the sleeve, and sending in the mail. I did have to pay for postage, but overall this was 2 stamps, which isn’t to bad, i would have liked to see a postage paid envelope for the cost of the kit.
