The founder of Quilted Koala carried on the family’s business tradition by first creating Andover Fabrics. It established itself by the founder’s dream of always wanting to get into the family business. In 1920, the founder’s grandpa started selling corduroy and his father offered fabrics for apparel. Andover Fabrics are known for their cutting-edge fabrics in the quilting world. In the spirit of the Andover Fabrics, the founder also created the luxe yet playful line of accessories for quilters and non-quilters alike: Quilted Koala. Using the fabrics from the Andover Fabrics line, Quilted Koala has everything from the perfect fabric-covered storage box for your treasures or just the right duffel bag for your weekend escapade.
David and Stephanie’s mission is to bring those stunning and pleasing designs to a whole new audience. The first two designs were named Happy and Joyful, which is the spirit of the Quilted Koala. Quilted Koala is a beautiful collection of colorful totes, duffels, cosmetic pouches, jewelry rolls, nested jewelry boxes, fabric storage boxes and bins, all made from the beautiful quilted Andover Fabrics.
