The Phantom will cover the existing footprint of your old toilet no problem, and has a large extended footprint design. In our master bathroom, which we are currently remodeling, it doesn’t have a large space for the toilet, and it’s right up against the shower and bathtub. This makes remodeling a little bit difficult, but not with the Phantom, as it fit right in there no problem. I do recommend when installing to make sure you attach the toilet seat to the bowl before setting into place if you have little room. You will have to reach all the way around the back of the toilet to tighten the screws and nut to hold the seat in place, so it’s much easier to install this before hand.
When we received our Phantom Toilet with Stealth Technology and UHET™ Water-Saving Kit, it came with everything we needed to install except for a wax ring that you will need. We went for a new type of “wax ring” that comes with a rubber gasket and almost like a foam insert. It was only a few dollars more and it worked wonderful.
