Vellabox offers health conscious candles via a subscription service that are delivered exclusively to your door each month. The Vellabox Candle Curator has some strict guidelines that she adheres to when choosing candles to place in the box. In order to continue along the same health conscious guidelines the company was built on, they do not place beeswax candles in the box in order to stay as vegan as possible. A lot of what you’ll find in their box are soy, coconut or vegetable based waxes. They do not place paraffin candles in the box nor do they allow lead wicks.
The burn rate of the candle was not too bad, we were able to get several days of 6-7 hours burn time out of the 8 oz. candle. It burned evenly and completely and really did a great job of making the downstairs smell great for a smaller candle. The 4 oz. candle scent is Burn S’more Toasted Graham Cracker and it smells heavenly. Think S’mores by the firepit on a chilly warm night. The smell of toasted marshmallow filling the air, cold chocolate, and a nice crunchy graham cracker wrapping itself around all of the melted goodness right before you take that first messy bite, is probably the best part of camping.
